I am Mataya Araydia.

I’m 25 years old, and Araydia began as a vision — one that came to me during one of the hardest seasons of my life.

I remember seeing the same verse over and over again — Matthew 5:14: “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.”

At that time, I felt like I was hiding so much of myself. I didn’t know who I truly was anymore. I worked a job that required me to wear heavy makeup every day. And every time I looked in the mirror, I barely recognized the woman staring back.

Yes, I looked beautiful — but inside, I felt broken.

That’s when the idea for ARAYDIA was born. It was just a whisper at first — a dream to create makeup that didn’t just cover flaws, but helped women reconnect with who they truly are. I wanted to create something that sits light on the skin, yet speaks deeply to the soul.

Makeup is something we, as women, wear almost every day. But I asked myself: what if makeup didn’t change who I was — what if it simply enhanced the beauty that was already there?

A makeup that feels sacred.

For years, Araydia existed only in my heart. I knew I wasn’t ready yet — I was still becoming the woman God called me to be. Becoming is not a one-time moment; it’s a daily choice. It’s the work of unfolding, of healing, of learning to love who you are and who you’re becoming. 

And when I finally became her — the version of myself rooted in grace, strength, and self-worth — I knew it was time. I prayed over every detail of this brand. I wanted it to carry a presence — something divine, feminine, and powerful — so that when you wear Araydia, you feel it.

It’s light, confidence, and alignment in a bottle.

When I wear ARAYDIA, I don’t feel like I’m hiding — I feel like I’m unleashing the most beautiful version of myself. And I mean that, truly.

Araydia is my middle name, but it’s also a symbol. She represents empowerment, femininity, and transformation — the beautiful journey of uncovering the treasure that’s always been within you.

Our first launch, The Hidden Treasure Collection, is a reflection of that truth. For so long, I searched for myself in other people, other places, and other versions of who I thought I had to be. But when I finally looked within, I realized — the hidden treasure was always me.
